NMMS Annual Conference

You are invited to attend the Fifth Annual Business and Scientific Meeting of the New Mexico Medical Society, “Building Bridges Within the Profession.”  The day-and-a-half conference will include a wide variety of timely education, a poster session and reception, the Annual Business Meeting for NMMS, a panel discussion with New Mexico legislative leaders, and a partnership with the state chapters of both the Anesthesiology Association and the College of Cardiology. 

Friday will feature a special keynote address by author Jonathan David Lewis, “The Kingdom and the Dragon:  The rise, fall, and rebirth of professions,” and Saturday includes a keynote by Hadley Wilson MD on the future of cardiovascular medicine in light of the new frontiers of AI and ChatGPT. The conference will be at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown, 2600 Louisiana Blvd., NE, on Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th.

Physicians, medical practices, Medical Students, and Residents are invited to  submit their entry to the poster session that will be held Friday, October 6th at 5:30 pm .  Poster topics include clinical or lab-based research, clinical vignettes, and quality improvement /patient safety projects.
