Why YOU Should Attend FUTURE 2026

Residents and students can step into national leadership by serving in the National Congress of Family Medicine Residents or the National Congress of Student Members. These congresses shape AAFP policy and elevate the issues that matter most. New Mexico needs strong voices at the table, and we encourage you to apply and represent our state.

Does this sound like something you want to be a part of? Apply today! Applicants must be current AAFP members to be considered. The NMAFP Board of Directors will carefully review all applications and vote to select one delegate and one alternate delegate. If selected, NMAFP will reimburse eligible expenses up to $500. Please note that reimbursement requires submission of receipts and a completed expense report within 30 days of the expense. Delegates are also required to write a newsletter article for NMAFP members and attend a board meeting (virtually or in person) to share their experience.
